I’m not a professional genealogist, but I like to think that I am a good family historian.
I am very interested in using whatever technology is out there to find my family roots. Sometimes using this tech has a very steep learning curve, sometimes I just don’t get it! However I believe that persistence will eventually win through and save the day. Brick walls are there to be smashed down, normally to just present another brick wall!
It brings to life my ancestors when I realise that I am walking along the same streets that they would have traversed just going about their daily lives all those hundreds of years ago.
